I am proud to offer safe & sanitary placenta encapsulation services in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I am a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist through PBi. Within 48 hours of birth, the mother's placenta is carefully washed, steamed and dehydrated before encapsulation. This is done in your home to ensure the safety and authenticity of the process, so feel free to watch and ask questions. When I am finished you will be left with a clean kitchen, your placenta pills, as well as instructions for consuming and storing your amazing placenta. Why consume your placenta?

There is anecdotal evidence that consuming the placenta postpartum is associated with increased milk supply, improves mood, prevents fatigue, and replaces depleted iron and hormones from child birth.

Your placenta contains:
Ferritin (Iron): Iron deficiency is the highest among pregnant women, symptoms include chronic fatigue (which can go wildly unnoticed and be considered a normal postpartum symptom)
Prolactin: A hormone that aids in breast milk production. Low levels are associated with postpartum mood disorders.
Cortisol: Natural production is blunted after delivery. Low levels are associated with fatigue and depressed mood.
B12: Deficiency associated with depression and chronic fatigue.
